Use with Claude and agents

Two ways let an AI agent use Cricket Database for you, both on your own key and plan. The agent skill is one file that teaches an agent which calls answer which questions, the limits and the errors. The MCP server gives the same calls as tools the agent can run.

The agent skill

Download the agent skill (SKILL.md). For Claude Code, save it as ~/.claude/skills/cricketdatabase/SKILL.md; for Claude in the app, upload it as a skill in Claude's settings. Agents that look for skills by themselves find it at https://cricketdatabase.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json.

The MCP server

Add https://api.cricketdatabase.com/mcp to your client with your key as Authorization: Bearer .... The MCP page has the setup for each client and the list of tools.
